GM Card

Anyone hoping to buy a new Vauxhall or Saab in the near future might want to take a look at the credit card offered by General motors.

The GM card offers reward points that equate to money off a new car. You can save up to £2000 off a Vauxhall and up to £2500 off a new Saab.

The rewards are also quite flexible - you can combine the points of two people living in the same household or you can transfer them to another family member who isn't a card holder.

The card also has a great introductory interest rate offer - 0% APR on balance transfers AND purchases for the first 5 months.

Credit Sources Review

If you are planning on buying a new Vauxhall or Saab, this card can be great value for money. The reward points equate to 3% cash back and double that at partner stores. That is much higher than most cash back and reward cards.

Of course, with this card you are limited as to what you can use your rewards for. Also, if you use your card a lot, bare in mind that there is a maximum amount of money off depending on the model of car you choose.

Interest rates seem comparable with most other reward cards and the introductory interest rate offer is very good. However, if you have balances that may take longer than 5 months to pay off you may be better with a balance transfer offer that has a slight higher rate but allows you to take much longer to pay off the balance before going back up to the standard rate.
