Nectar Credit Card

American Express has now teamed up with Nectar, the UK's leading rewards programme to bring you the Nectar credit card.

Earning Nectar Points

Nectar is the largest rewards programme in the UK, allowing you to earn points at a wide number of shops such as Sainsburys, Debenhams, BP and many more. This card makes it easy to earn even more Nectar points than you do already. Not only will you earn 1 point for every £1 spent on the card, you can earn up to 4 points per £1 when you shop at Nectar participating shops. With the large number of popular shops already part of the Nectar programme, this means it can be easy to quickly build up that points balance.

You will also receive an intial bonus 1,000 points when you first use your card. This can be a nice big boost to your points total.

Points can be spent on a wide variety of things from high street gift vouchers to to travel and entertainment.

If you frequently shop at Sainsburys or Debenhams (Nectar participating stores) then this could be a great card to choose. Not only can you use points to save money on your shopping, you can also use the card to build up your points towards bigger rewards more quickly. You can even use you points for flights and holidays.

This card also has a lower standard APR than some other American Express cards (Typical 12.9% APR Variable) as well as having no annual fee.

Of course, you also have the security of the card being backed by one of the world's largest financial institutions, American Express.
